4th May 9:30am
Half time: 2-6 – 0-00
Full time: 3-14 – 0-00

The ladies took on the Finbarrs B team early on Sunday morning. After a ten minute settling period the girls started chipping away at their scores and held the majority of possession. Despite a few hard hits, the defence managed to come out on top with Finbarrs only getting one scoring chance in the first half.
The 3 man midfield structure worked as a defensive wall and the half back line drove forward to put pressure on the Finbarrs defence. Goals came late in the second half from Sharon Cassidy and Dee McDermott and the half time whistle came with a satisfactory 2-6 to 0-0 score line. The second half saw the confidence grow for Shamrocks as they took more chances and finished up with a 3-14 to 0-0 score line, Caroline Egan with the final goal.
Shamrocks will be satisfied with the win but know that a lot more work needs to be done.
